AKJP Studio is a multifaceted space for South African creatives, housing up to 40 artists alongside its own label, AKJP. It encompasses a wide range of creative endeavors including fashion, artworks, publications, accessories, homeware, ceramics, and furniture. The studio is dedicated to nurturing and promoting both emerging and established South African talents, with a focus on fostering a local following cultivated over the past decade and attracting international tourists. In addition to its retail and collaborative efforts, AKJP Studio provides experiential elements such as window installations and event spaces, fostering a sense of community and embodying a unique lifestyle. Through mentorship programs and brand development initiatives, the studio actively supports and develops young creatives, contributing to the vibrant creative landscape of South Africa. Every 4-6 weeks AKJP Studio launches a new window installation which showcases a new collection or designer.

In addition to its existing offerings, AKJP Studio recently introduced the AKJP BAR a café/bar, which serves as a tribute to local production. Featuring ceramic crockery by Keith Henning, bagels by New York Bagels, Mcc by Krone, food by Babylonstoren, and coffee by Father Coffee, every component is sourced locally, highlighting the studio’s dedication to promoting South African craftsmanship.
