SPORRA eau de parfum is a sophisticated balance of Haitian vetiver, Mysore sandalwood and Ylang-Ylang heart notes, warmed together by Indian saffron, Madagascan bourbon vanilla, sherbet and ultra vanilla.
One might call the scent an elevated gourmand, as it lends itself to the warmth and vanilla-essence of a freshly-baked good, while holding the complexity of refined dry woods and narcotic florals in the balance.
The bottles are themselves individual and bespoke homages to the artists’ role historically to comprehend the natural world through material expression. Each oyster shell lid detail is sourced from the sandbanks of Churchhaven in the West Coast National Park, where the artist-perfumer behind SPORRA, Georgia Munnik, spent her formative years. The natural flora and seaside ecology of the West Coast National Park continue to serve as the primary source of inspiration for Georgia’s work as a visual artist.
Regarding her perfume practice; Georgia mines scent inspiration at the threshold of her own sensing body and the undeniable natural world that surrounds her.
